JW Pet Insight Sand T-Perch for birds is a "proper perch" that has varying diameters along its length that help exercise the muscles of the bird's feet. It's also designed to be wider at the base and more slender toward the tip. This keeps birds perched on the middle to the end, rather than near the cage. Another intelligent idea. The durable, natural sand feels comfortable to birds and provides an excellent surface for normal wear of the bird's nails.
